   Chris Coates Drywall is a professional Commercial Walls and Ceilings Contractor headquartered in Kentucky and Florida with operations in 11 states across the Southeastern United States.  We are a full-service contractor specializing in Drywall, Painting, Light Metal Framing, and Acoustical Ceilings. We focus on various projects including wood-framed multi-family, student housing, and assisted living center developments.

     Our legacy started in the early 1950's with my great uncle starting the first-generation drywall company in Louisville, Kentucky. He taught the craft to my father; who founded his business in 1972.  In 1988, I began working under his guidance, then founded Chris Coates Drywall, Inc. in 2000 with a focus on residential projects. Then, in 2010, I began completing commercial projects exclusively.  Now my son is learning to carry on the family business into the 4th generation and continue the over 70 years of combined experience and professional service you can expect from Chris Coates Drywall, Inc.
